The Angels: The Guardian Spirits of Mankind

Posted on September 20th, 2008 — in Hall Of Religion, Misc., New Age Hall

A legion of spiritual beings of light has been sent to assist you. Humanity call them angels, the angels of the Lord.

Those magnificent beings will give you courage, inspiration, and will help you to arise when you stumble.

When your path becomes invaded by beings full of darkness, the enlightened beings will show you how to illuminate those beings in darkness and free them from their confusion.

The light of the guardians angels will illuminate you so that you may contemplate your path and discover its dangers.

The Angels of the Lord

To battle against the world of darkness, men will need the world of light; to triumph over the influence of war, men will depend upon the angel of peace; to battle against sickness, plagues, and death, Humanity will have the charity of those invisible beings who are ready to pour their balsam of charity and comfort upon mankind.

In Times of Trouble

When things get rough in your life, those loving beings try to inspire you ideas and feelings of light, but, alas, most of times humans are insensitive to their inspiration and blind to their light. So, they then communicate by the means of your dreams, when our material mind and body is at rest.

Bible Prophecy 2-”Earthquakes & War”

Posted on June 23rd, 2008 — in Hall Of Religion

In part 2, of our Bible Prophecy series, we will look at earthquakes, War and their effect, not only on mankind, but of how they are effecting prophecy. Earthquakes have always occurred from the foundation of the earth. Why then are earthquakes so important now? The number and locations are the devideing factor between the earthquakes of the past and the ones that we are experience today.

What is a earthquake, trembling or shaking movement of the earth’s surface. Most earthquakes are minor tremors. Larger earthquakes usually begin with slight tremors but rapidly take the form of one or more violent shocks, and end in vibrations of gradually diminishing force called aftershocks. On average about 1,000 earthquakes with intensities of 5.0 or greater are recorded each year. Great earthquakes (intensity 8.0 or higher) occur once a year, major earthquakes (intensity 7.0-7.9) occur 18 times a year, strong earthquakes (intensity 6.0-6.9) 10 times a month, and moderate earthquakes (intensity 5.0-5.9) more than twice a day.

God has built in a natural safety valve into the earth for expansion and contraction. This safety valve is called an earthquake. The number, magnitude and location is important in understanding the Scriptures that deal with the end days. The first scripture that we will deal with is Matthew 24:7.

1.For nation shall rise against nation, ( The number of wars are continuing to grow each year.

In just my life time, I have seen, Wars in Viet-Nam, Granada, The cold war with the Soviet Union, Iraq 1, Iraq 2 , Afghanistan, Israel and all their wars with Egypt, Iran, Syria, East Bank, and the Gaza Strip, ect and The unseen war with the extreme elements of Alqaeda and The Nation of Muslim fanatics The Soviet Union and Afghanistan) and

2. kingdom against kingdom: The Muslim Nation is divided concerning Jehad and the way to convert all men to Mohmmad-ism. The United Nations are split into pieces barely holding on, because of the division among all nations.) and

3.there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. ( This section is easy to understand and relate to, India, Pakistan, Africa, Bird Flue, ect. The fear of another pandemic is growing among not only the people of earth but also the medical community.) (In recent years, and especially in 2005, we have seen earthquakes occur in China, Pakistan, America, South America, Japan, China, Philippens, The Soviet Union, ect.)

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows. (”these are the beginnings of sorrows.”) The Bible tells us in the end days, there will be a significant change in the nature of the earth and the attitude of man. Why is all this happening?

The will of man, his pride, arrogance, lust for power, possessions and fame, have over ridden the will of God and man kinds love for one another. Hate, distrust, fear, suspicion, prejudice, have all become the catalyst for many a disaster in the world and will be the down fall of man. To prove what I have already said, lets look at two sections of Scripture from the Book of Revelations.

1.Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen( This is past occurrence and future prophecy.), that great city ( The habitation of the Babylonian People and the Spirit of Babylon that has changed man-kinds attitude.), because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

(”Fornication.” Extramarital sex)(Sex here means a departure from the Truth of the Bible to in-joining of false doctrine and a criminal conversion from The Truth of scripture to follow after all manner of cult activities.) (that willfully and maliciously inter-fears with marriage relations. Criminal conversion.)(People that try to worship God on one hand and embrace false doctrine on the other.)

2. Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils (Devils in this instance means, People of Hatred, confusion, Cruel and inhuman people, haters of God and haters of man, demonic), and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

(The word “Bird” in Rev. 18:2 means, A cry or noise to display contempt or displeasure, an out cry of hate and prejudice.) If you’ve noticed in Rev.14:8 and 18:2, the phrase, “is fallen, is fallen” is repeated. Why? In Hebrew when a subject or word is mentioned twice, it signifies that the event mentioned will occur twice. Babylon the City was destroyed, The spirit of Babylon will also be destroyed.

This is what is starting to occur today. The Nations of the world have become what God has already destroyed once, Babylon. Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers (Many) places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights (tsunamis) and great signs shall there be from heaven. ( Meteorites, Meteors, Comets.)

Rev 11:13. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell (Jerusalem ), and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand:(a tenth part of the city’s population)(This signifies a population at the time of this earthquake at 700,000 people)

(The population of Jerusalem, as censored at the end of 2003, was 693,200 people.) and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.(References; Isa 22:5 For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord God of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.

Zec 14:3-7; Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.)

Rev 16:18-19 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city (Jerusalem) was divided into three parts,(EU Wants Israel to Divide Jerusalem. 15:51 Nov 27, ‘05 / 25 Cheshvan 5766 By Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu)

(For the past three years we have been reporting that the time is coming when the world will force Israel into dividing Jerusalem with the PA. Well that time is here. Watch over the coming years for a “political move ” to use the estab-lishment of the next Jewish temple as a bargaining chip for Israel to divide its capital.

The division of Jerusalem would fit into Bible Prophecy. We must keep in mind that the Lord declared that once the Jews took possession of Israel again (1947) it would never again go back into gentile hands. Hence, half of Jerusalem does not constitute a full surrender of it. I believe this issue could be the spring board that Satan will use to bring forth his false Messiah, the Anti-christ.

God’s plan for the end of the ages and the beginning of Messiah’s reign is moving forward with pin-point accuracy!) and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. ars. end pt. 2.

Mahavira | 24th Tirthankara of Jainism his teachings and essence

Posted on May 8th, 2008 — in Hall Of Religion

Mahavira: 24th Tirthankara of Jainism vardhamana Mahavira

Vardhamana Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism was the
last of the series of 24th Tirthankars in Jainism Dharma.
Jainism as we understand today is primarily focused on the
teachings and essence of Bhagwan Mahavira. Why?

Right from the Times of the first Tirthankara Rishabdeva (aka
Adinatha) nothing and up till the 23rd Tirthankara… the tenets
and the teachings of Jainism did not exist in the society as in
the Times of Mahavira. It was only in the Times of Mahavira that
Jainism took its roots.

The precipitation of all the teachings right from the first
Tirthankara Rishabdeva (aka Adinatha) and up till the 23rd
Tirthankara Parshvanath occurred only when Mahavira, the 24th
Tirthankara arrived on the scene.

If we are to mix hydrogen and oxygen gas to make drinking water
then most of us would be least concerned with the process
itself. It is only when the two gases meet and the water is
formed… we recognize the process. It was not the process but
the end result we are after!

In life it is the goal and not the journey which matters most.
Once we have a goal in sight… to be able to traverse the
journey would not be difficult! What use is of the journey where
there is no goal?

Mahavira came about 1000 years after the advent of Lord Krishna
who gave to the humanity the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. If
Bhagavad Gita comprises of 18 fundamentals of life then…
Jainism as propounded by Mahavira may contain only 15
fundamentals.

In the Times of Mahavira even these 15 fundamentals were
difficult to assimilate. The society had started degenerating
from the Times of Lord Krishna.

In the present times one can often find people quoting that it
is difficult to reach the level of Swami Vivekananda… what to
talk of becoming Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or reaching the
stage of Bhagwan Mahavira himself.

As the society loses its value… people tend to become more and
more materialistic. Mahavira gave to the society the
fundamentals of Ahimsa and the doctrine of Anekantavada. These
two realities of life imbibed in the general masses a feeling of
compassion and also Vairagya (Asceticism).

It is Mahavira and Mahavira alone who taught us the real meaning
of unity in diversity. It was Mahavira who taught us that even
Lions and the buffaloes can live together in harmony. Whether we
believe in the teachings of Mahavira or not… it is a confirmed
fact of life that without the practice of Ahimsa in real life…
the life itself loses its meaning!

Mahavira also taught us that the total humanity including the
various other forms of life can always live-in harmony. It was
the fundamentals of Anekantavada which made it possible for
mankind to live a harmonious life. Now, what is Anekantavada?

If I were standing on the first floor of the house and someone
in the house on the ground floor called for me then, what would
one say “call him down from above”. Now a person standing on the
second floor of the house would call for me as “call him above”.

How is it possible that both the narrations are correct? As per
Mahavira it is the fundamental of Anekantavada which confirms
that both the statements are correct. The perspectives may be
different but the doctrine of Anekantavada by Mahavira relies
upon the principle of logistical conclusions.

In the present society where Religions are numerous… as per
the doctrine of Anekantavada preached by Mahavira… all can
live-in harmony for it is only the viewpoint that may be
different but the goals of all the Religions is always the same.
All man Gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and
Prophet Mohammed preached the same.

Mahavira was instrumental in precipitating what we know as
Jainism. Mahavira was the one who bared it all in the end.
Mahavira was able to prove to the society that every human being
can reach the ultimate goal of life… become an enlightened
soul (self realized atman).

Mahavira contrary to Jesus Christ never stated that normal human
beings can not reach the level of Jesus Christ himself. Mahavira
always stated that it is within the means of every human being
to become Mahavira in one’s lifetime.

According to Mahavira, the essence of Jainism is one who has won
himself… one who transcends all the barriers of the physical
mundane life and crosses over to the spiritual end of life! The
word Jainism is derived from the root word “Jina”… meaning one
who has realized his real self and merges his identity with the
bigger whole, God the Almighty himself.

Jainism is not a religion and the followers of Mahavira and
Jainism beliefs are never referred to as following Mahavirism.
Jainism has always been preached and considered as “a way of
life”. It is a Dharma following which one can become enlightened
like Mahavira in one’s lifetime.

It is only Jainism which believes in the fact that the body of a
human being is a garb for the soul (atman) within. The
Tirthankars in Jainism wore no clothes as they had realized that
before reaching the state of enlightenment it was necessary for
won to discard the physical manifestations in life.

Jainism as preached by Mahavira is a Dharma which believes and
practices true renunciation… getting free of all the
attachments and the karma in the physical mode of life. Mahavira
made it absolutely clear that before one can hope to reach the
highest pedestal of spiritual life… we need to free ourselves
of all the attachments and bondages of physical life.

In the present times… compared to Buddhism the teachings of
Mahavira do not find many takers. While talking to a publisher
friend of mine… the gory fact was put together… it was in
the ratio of 1:10 that the Jainism literature was being
published. The reason… it was very difficult to follow the
doctrine of Mahavira in the present times.

As it was easier to follow Buddhism… we have massive
literature on Buddhism available today. No denying the fact that
following the dictates of Mahavira in the present times is a
really difficult task but not unachievable for the ultimate goal
of life of every human being is becoming a Mahavira in the end.

Becoming a Mahavira is the cosmic goal of every Jiva (living
being)! Whether we follow the teachings of Mahavira and become a
Mahavira in the present life or in the next manifestation is
totally dependent upon our karma in the present life.

Failure is never as painful as Regret.

Posted on May 1st, 2008 — in Hall Of Religion

“I would rather regret some of my failures in life than to live my life failing to forget my regrets.” GR

In other words, failing at something and getting back up is much less painful than to look back and regret not doing something (or doing something) and not being able to go back and change the outcome. Each one of us has failed at something in life, some of us more than others. Some of our mishaps we have forgotten, others may still be eating away at us like a disease. I would think it’s much easier to recall our failures in life than to bring up some of our regrets we may have. Neither failure nor regret can we change from our past, but we can chose to heal our regrets.

Did Jesus experience failures? Jesus was made perfect in the sight of God, but he also was a person with human emotions and characteristics. I would guess at times he felt things may not be going his way and failure may have been his feeling of choice at that moment. Maybe the only time he had a regret was when he went up to pray on the Mt. of Olives the night before his crucifixion and cried out to God to take the world’s burden off his shoulders. But even then he knew in his heart God’s purpose for his life and it wasn’t supposed to be full of any regrets.

Do you have any regrets today that need healing? If you think about it you probably can find one or two. Can you do something about it? In one or more cases you probably can. Will you do anything about it? That’s up to you. Just think how freeing and uplifting that would feel if you had one less regret, not to mention what it might do for the other people involved. Maybe you need to forgive someone or maybe you need to ask someone to forgive you. The bible says, “Get along with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does you wrong, forgive that person as the Lord forgave you” Colossians 3:13.

I happened to be an adopted child at 5 days old. I grew up around my biological family of four siblings. I chose not to have a relationship with them for thirty-six years for a number of reasons that were not good ones. It was only until last year in a hospital shared by my adopted mother and their father (not my biological father) that God gave me an opportunity to voice to all of them in one room of my regrets. Growing up I regretted not being a close brother for all those years when I had the chance to. I regretted not being an uncle to their children when they didn’t understand my actions. And I regretted my prideful nature of thinking it was their choice to come to me. All this didn’t change the past, yet it built some bridges so we could move forward. But, in some creative way of God’s in that hospital room that summer day, eight people came together from all over the country. Maybe, just maybe for the reason that one of us or all of us could walk away that day having one less regret to remember. In what originally were two people having life threating surgeries turned out to be a miracle of God’s. Coincidence? I don’t believe so. God’s perfect plan? Yes, I have no doubt. Do I feel better by healing that regret? You bet! Yes, I do regret some of my failures, but there’s one regret I will be able to forget for the rest of my life. Bob talked about the beatitudes this weekend. What better way to be merciful, and a peacemaker than to take care of a regret.

How do you think Jesus felt after he was resurrected from the grave? Glad he did it? Yes! What will you do this week to be able to forget one or more of your regrets in life? Will you be merciful? Will you be a peacemaker? Or will you push it away again, OR WILL YOU ACT?

Finding Favor In Uncommon Places

Posted on April 16th, 2008 — in Hall Of Religion

What do you want in your life? What kind of life would you like to live? I believe the answer lies in a question: What are you and I becoming? There is much written today in the coaching world about the law of attraction. The truth of the matter is that we really are attracting positive and negative things into our life everyday by our conversations, our interactions, even our demeanor. A person that acts and speaks negatively will no doubt repel positive people and most likely will only attract other negative people. The old expression, “misery loves company is really true.”! So how do I get good things to come in my life? In God’s Word, we read about this thing called “favor.” Favor is this undeserved grace or open door that suddenly happens to us when we did very little to make happen. Its kind of like being at the right place at the right time. Its having someone really like you, believe in you and open unexpected opportunities for you. Ever experienced that? That is favor! In Proverbs 3:3-4, we read the key to finding favor.

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
Bind them around your neck.
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will find favor and a good name
In the sight of God and man.”

Don’t let love and faithfulness leave you! When you do a word study on love and faithfulness, you find they have similarities. They both have the element of steadfastness. The word for love means steadfast love, mercy, loving-kindness, faithfulness, goodness, devotion. The word for faithfulness means steadfast, endure, faithfulness, to be true, to trust. So in summary, the person who finds favor with God and man is the person who is loving, kind, faithful, merciful, devoted, steadfast and trustworthy. They are faithful. They are no doubt the kind of people that others want to be around because not only are they loving and kind, but they are trustworthy. They mean what they say and say what they mean. Their word is their bond. They can be counted on to fulfill their obligations. A long time ago men and women didn’t have written contracts. Their word was their creed and it was good enough! Want favor to show up in unexpected places and times? Well, I must go back to the original question, What are you becoming? Are you faithful? Do you follow through with commitments? Are you trustworthy? Can you be counted on? Do you deal with people in a loving and kind way? Do people want to be around you?

Gifts and talents are great but, without character to sustain them, they really are a flash in the pan. Steadfast character, love and faithfulness open doors for favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. What could be better than that?

1954 Versus 2005 Chevrolet..a Parable

Posted on April 6th, 2008 — in Hall Of Religion

Jesus saves. He died on the cross for you and me. Because He did, we can have salvation. The shortest prayer in the Bible was from Peter. He was walking on the water, took his eyes off Jesus, and begin to sink. Matthew 14 verse 30 “But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Verse 31 “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”

My brother in law once had a 1954 six cylinder Chevrolet truck. This truck was simply built. You opened the hood, and easily had access to the motor. You could work on it. Open the hood of a 2005 Chevrolet. The motors are so complicated these days, that professional training is needed to work on them.

We have often took the simple message of Jesus saves, complicated it to such an extent, that many seeking him are turned off. I remember before the Lord saved me. I was hurting so I went to a local church for help. The pastor talked with me, then handed me a sheaf of papers that I had to read and complete before I could join the church. I didn’t need that; I needed Jesus….and this complicated way of going to Him turned me off. However, a few months later, while sitting at the kitchen table reading the Bible (Psalm 40) that my dear late Mama gave me, I looked up to heaven, and said, “God, if you are real, save me”. Immediately, Jesus came into my heart and I knew I was a new creature.

Which model to we present to others…the 1954 or the 2005?
