The Employment Tribunal also accepted that at first glance it looked like a clear case of sex discrimination. Ms. Sweeney may have felt mistreated because of the way the events happened.
However, the truth is that she was terminated on completely fair grounds with no hint of bias or sex discrimination. The firm produced documents to show that the decision was taken due to events prior to the pregnancy and not due to pregnancy.
A DLA spokesman expressed his satisfaction with the decision of the Tribunal.
